Midway After Dark is an ever-evolving Toronto indie group with a huge open door policy. Geoff Hen (drums) and Jay Flores-Holz (Vocals, Guitar) are holding down the fort so that their musical friends and troubadour neighbours can casually drop by and join the Midway After Dark for recordings and gigs.
MAD History
Midway After Dark was co-founded in 2009 with Cam Clark (Urban Street Scandal, Broken Arrows) and has had the good fortune of sharing the stage with a number of great musicians like Michael McKenzie (Universal Honey, Lowest of the Low), Carlos Aguillera (Adams Rib), Kelly-Ann Vandermeer (Samba Squad), Avital Zemmer (Tio Chorinho) and Daren Eedens (Slim Pickens) to name a few.
Looking to the Future
Midway After Dark are super excited to launch their latest recording, Miles Away on July 1st, 2020. The 6 song EP was recorded at the Red House Music Academy in Toronto, Canada. Instrumental in this release, was the support and encouragement of Michael McKenzie who, not only produced and engineered the project, but also joined the duo on guitar and bass. A huge thank you goes out to Mike for all his hard work and dedication.
